#36-22 Male Victims of Family Violence … Digging for the roots of abuse

In this interview, Prof. Lysova explains the similarities and differences between women’s and men’s experiences with and perpetration of family violence. She says this field of study originated with the feminist movement and focused on violence against women, but that the worst forms of violence against women cannot be stopped unless men’s experiences of violence are also taken into account and help – appropriate help that they can accept – extended to them as well.
