Some major media ate touting it. And so are some prominent tech entrepreneurs &#8211; even those who acknowledge it would also do a lot of damage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A UN Space Treaty from 1972 holds governments responsible for damage caused by a space launch from their territories; but today space is colonized by private actors, capable of blithely trying whatever they imagine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Naomi Klein called out the hubris of geo-engineering in a talk to the World Social Forum.
