Women’s Work, Part 1 Why’s it so hard to do?

This is the first of two half-hours of an extensive interview with Professor Messing about how gendered the most common professions are, what generally-ignored factors cause physical and mental health problems for women at work in various professions, and what can and cannot be changed about this in the contemporary milieu. She makes the point that Europeans, especially the French, and Francophone Canada, have done more with these problems than have the Americans and Anglophone Canadians.
