#12-19 The Finnish Election: through a feminist, leftist lens

The Finnish national election of April 2019 saw a rollback of the previous rightwing coalition government and a surge for feminists, leftists and greens. The new Feminist Party won no seats, but set a challenge to the other parties to be vigilant in protecting women’s rights. Kaarina Kailo talks about politics and economics of the country, and its struggle to retain self-government in a corporate-dominated world.
